This program is about more than just footy. It’s about giving young men the chance to develop as players, teammates, and people, in an environment that’s supportive, challenging, and connected to the whole club. At Cott, Colts aren’t on the sidelines. They’re part of the senior program from day one.

Training is purposeful and competitive, with a strong focus on skill development, game understanding, and building good habits. Players are encouraged to back themselves, learn quickly, and take responsibility for their own growth. Mistakes are part of the process. Effort and attitude matter most.

The Colts group is tight. New players are welcomed in quickly, and friendships form fast. There’s a strong social side to the team, balanced with clear expectations around commitment, respect, and turning up for each other. You’ll train alongside senior players, be known by the coaches, and feel part of the wider Roosters community.
